About Premiere Dance Competition Lines

Premiere Dance began competition lines in 2003. Selection for competition lines begin in the
spring. A teacher can reccomend for a dancer to be placed on a competition line. The dancers
begin practicing in the summer. The competition season begins in the spring. The dancers usually
compete in four competitions each year. The competition dancers have appeared in the following
competitions: Kids Artisitic Review, Star Systems, USA Dance, Starbound, Dance Explosion and
Encore. The competitions dancers have received High Silver, Gold, High Gold, Platinum and Overall
High Point awards since 2003.

Competition Dancers at Premiere range in age from 5 to 18.

There are 6 competition lines at Premiere Dance:
The Darlings Too: Ages 5-6
The Darlings: Ages 6-7
The Dolls Too: Ages 7-9
The Dolls: Ages 8-10
The Dazzlers: Ages 11-14
The Divas: Ages 14-18

Competition dancers are selected and placed by their teachers.
